My Patient Portal

My Patient Portal is a secure, confidential and easy-to-use website that provides patients with 24-hour access to their medical record. This free service is designed to help KHA patients easily manage and receive important health information. From the online Patient Portal, patients can:

  • Request labs and view lab results
  • View upcoming and past appointments
  • Review a current medication list and submit refill requests
  • Request referrals
  • Send non-urgent messages to your provider

Q: How do I register for My Patient Portal?
Registering for My Patient Portal is quick and easy, all you need is an email address! Just notify our office staff at the front desk, who will provide you with a username and password. When you log in for the first time, you will be prompted to change your password and set up your account. 

Q: How can My Patient Portal benefit me?
A: There are many ways you can benefit by enrolling in My Patient Portal. Some of the services you can access via this secure website include:

  • Requesting and reviewing doctor appointments
  • Accessing medical test results
  • Requesting a referral
  • Reviewing laboratory results
  • Sending a secure message to your healthcare provider
  • Updating your personal information
  • Researching medical information
  • Reviewing your recent office visits

Q: How secure is my medical information on My Patient Portal?
A: Your information is extremely secure. The information on the Portal is merely a snapshot of your medical record, not the actual record. This “snapshot” is maintained on a secure server.

Q: Can I ask urgent health questions through My Patient Portal?
A: My Patient Portal allows you to communicate electronically with your health care provider about non-urgent issues. My Patient Portal should not be used for urgent health concerns. Please call your KHA office directly with any questions that need answering within one business day, or call 911 if you're having an emergency.

Q: How will I know if a request made through My Patient Portal has been addressed?
A: You will receive an email to the address you provided to your KHA office telling you to log into the patient portal to review the reply or actions taken.

Q: How long does it take for requests to be processed?
A: Your healthcare provider will respond to your messages and requests as soon as possible. Many requests can only be processed during your doctor’s regular business hours, as they are patient-specific medical concerns.

Q: Do messages sent through My Patient Portal become part of my medical record?
A: Yes, messages you send within the patient portal – along with responses to those messages – become part of your medical record.
